Unterstützung für VoIP-Aufnahmen in der „Phone.app“ unter Tahoe
- Die neue Phone.app unter macOS 26 (Tahoe) wird nun für die VoIP-Aufzeichnung unterstützt. Dadurch lassen sich beide Seiten eines Gesprächs mit diesen Apps ganz einfach aufzeichnen. Ein Problem, bei dem es unter macOS 26 (Tahoe) bei einigen Aufzeichnungen zu doppeltem Ton kommen konnte, wurde behoben.
Piezo 1.9.8 ist für macOS 14.4 und höher
- Diese Variante von Piezo unterstützt macOS 14.4 und höher. Unter macOS 11 bis 14.3.1 wird automatisch eine andere Variante verwendet, ohne dass Sie etwas tun müssen.

I love the ability to capture audio from a specific app (excluding system beeps, etc.) and save it in a format I can use on an iPod (for example). Recently, my pastor gave a sermon that I liked enough that I recorded it (from a conference service) for re-listening. Super handy!

Hey all, I've purchased Audio Hijack which is also a Rogue product. Does this program do anything different? They're both from the same developer, so was curious. On the surface they appear to do the same thing.

This software is superb and I use it everyday for my recordings. I only wish it could record with a higher rate. The actual rate is not enough for my purposes. Thanks.

A very simple and straight-forward app to use to record audio.
I tested on some web conference presentations and it worked well, including auto stopping within about 10 seconds of silence at the end of conferences. (tested on Yosemite 10.10.5)
Re the settings, my ears found that aac sounded slightly better than mp3 (for equivalent bit rate). And that the conferences I recorded sounded slightly better at 128 kbs than 64 kbs (which had a bit of tinny sound). Though this will vary depending on what quality the web conference, or other source you use, is 'broadcasting'.
(Following the rule that, recording at a higher bitrate than what is broadcast or played back as, does NOT result in better audio.)
Note to MU staff: The current Piezo version is 1.5.9 (not 1.5.8). 1.5.9 was released Apr 17 2018.

Lovely, simple, easy to use app with a user friendly interface. Best of all it doesn't require you to extra software for it to work. I would give it five stars if it allowed recording at 320 kbps (256 is the max), but if you're not recording music, this is the app to get. Great job.

Played with it a little (demo version). I had a real fun. Comprehensive and really easy to use app does what it promises to do. No bugs or issues discovered so far. Friendly UI(even for Mac newbies). This soft does its job. Though I am not going to spend money on this app.it is worth every penny from 20 bucks.
